Attached is information from the
Kansas Board of Regents regarding
proposed changes to the Regents
admissions policy. KSCA will have an
opportunity to share input with the
Board of Regents regarding these
proposed standards at a meeting on
August 25. If you have comments that
you would like KSCA to share, please

KSCA has partnered with KSDE and ACT
to create a Kansas School Counselor
Service Award.  The two major
qualifications are
1.  Must be a licensed school counselor
in Kansas served as a school counselor
for at least 20 years
.
2.  Must be a current member of the
Kansas School Counselor Association
(KSCA).  


If you meet these qualification, all you
need to do is complete the attached
form and submit it to me by October 1,
2010.  We will honor you at the
KSDE/ESU Fall Conference on November
4, 2010 during the luncheon and present
you with a nice plaque.
